The Datalogic Magellan™ 9550i is a next-generation bi-optic scanner designed for high-efficiency retail checkout environments. This scanner-only model features a medium All-Weighs™ platter, shelf mount, and fixed produce rail, making it ideal for supermarkets and high-throughput POS lanes. Power supply and cables are sold separately.

With a 45% faster 2D barcode decoding speed compared to earlier Magellan scanners, the 9550i ensures ultra-responsive performance for both 1D and 2D symbologies, including support for GS1 Digital Link. Its intelligent design is a drop-in replacement for earlier Magellan models (9300–9900 series), using the same power and cabling setup to streamline deployment.

The All-Weighs™ platter allows weighing of oversized produce, while optional AI-enhanced camera support helps enable image recognition and anti-shrink strategies.
