The Datalogic Magellan™ 9600i in-counter scanner is purpose-built to elevate modern checkout performance through advanced AI readiness, multi-camera barcode scanning, and integrated shrink control technologies. This configuration features a long platter, fixed produce rail, and flange mount, making it ideal for high-volume supermarket and grocery environments.

Powered by Datalogic’s innovative QuadVision™ multi-core imaging system, this unit combines 4 cameras and the IMX8 processor to deliver high-speed decoding of 1D, 2D, and Digimarc® barcodes, even in poor condition. The integrated ScaleSentry™ infrared detection system helps prevent under-weighing of produce by alerting cashiers to misplacement on the platter.

The included Vertical Customer Camera Module (CCM) with USB 3.0 interface prepares your POS for future AI capabilities like product recognition and loss prevention via video streaming. A USB Enhanced Power cable and US-standard power brick and cord ensure quick deployment.
