With a medium-sized platter, flip-up produce rail, USB Power Over Terminal (POT) cable, and adaptive scale compatibility, this scanner is engineered for seamless integration into assisted and self-checkout counters.

Powered by QuadVision™ imaging technology, it features four integrated cameras that scan barcodes from five sides, ensuring rapid and reliable decoding even for damaged, poorly printed, or Digimarc® barcodes. Built on a powerful IMX8 processor, the 9600i delivers unmatched performance and future-proofs your checkout with optional AI-ready enhancements such as color cameras, neural processors, and video analytics via Ethernet or USB 3.0.

The vertical customer-facing camera module (CCM) with USB 3.0 support enables optional customer barcode scanning and image capture, enhancing user experience and enabling loss prevention strategies.

With adaptive scale readiness, this model integrates with leading third-party scales (Avery, Bizerba, DIGI, etc.), giving retailers the flexibility to build custom weighing systems while benefiting from All-Weighs™ platter technology for oversized produce and ScaleSentry™ for shrink control.
