The Magellan™ 9600i is a next-generation scanner/scale designed for high-throughput retail environments such as supermarkets and hypermarkets. This configuration features a medium All-Weighs™ platter, fixed produce rail, single interval scale, and vertical bonnet with single display. It is shelf-mounted and equipped with USB 3.0 and USB POT cable for reliable, high-speed connectivity.

With QuadVision™ imaging, the 9600i captures multiple high-resolution images using four integrated cameras and a powerful IMX8 processor, making it ideal for scanning 1D, 2D, Digimarc®, and emerging symbologies like GS1 Digital Link. The ScaleSentry™ infrared system prevents produce from being under-weighed by detecting items placed outside the scale’s weighing surface.

Designed with hygiene, performance, and future-readiness in mind, the 9600i features a clean, easy-to-sanitise surface, capacitive touch buttons, and AI-ready hardware to support image capture, machine learning, and loss prevention software integration.
