The Datalogic Magellan™ 9600i is a next-generation, in-counter scanner/scale built to power AI-driven checkout experiences. Designed with a medium platter, fixed produce rail, and shelf mount, this model is powered via USB Plus Power (USB POT) for simple, cable-efficient installation.

At the heart of the 9600i lies QuadVision™ – a robust IMX8 multi-core processor with a 4-camera configuration that delivers unmatched scanning speed and accuracy, even for poor-quality or damaged barcodes. Enhanced with ScaleSentry™ infrared technology, the device actively prevents under-weighing by detecting misplaced produce on the scale. The integrated All-Weighs™ scale platter also allows oversized items to be weighed on top of the bonnet.

The 9600i is future-proof and AI-ready, supporting optional neural processors and dual colour cameras for machine learning applications like item recognition and loss prevention. A Vertical CCM (Customer Camera Mount) enables customer-facing scanning of mobile coupons or loyalty codes, improving the self-checkout experience.
