Designed for high-speed retail environments, the Datalogic Magellan™ 9600i is a premium scanner-only in-counter solution with a medium All-Weighs™ platter, flush/shelf mount, and a USB Powered Over Twisted Pair (POT) cable for simplified installation.

At its core is the QuadVision™ multi-camera architecture, featuring four cameras and an IMX8 multi-core processor. This powerhouse configuration delivers ultra-fast, accurate decoding across all standard and advanced symbologies, even on damaged or poorly printed barcodes. With optional future-ready AI processing hardware—including integrated neural processors and Coral TPU—the 9600i enables AI inference at the point of sale, eliminating reliance on cloud computing.

The ScaleSentry™ loss prevention system uses invisible IR beams to detect misplacement of produce, ensuring accurate weighing and preventing shrinkage. The All-Weighs™ design allows weighing of oversized items directly on the bonnet, ideal for grocers and retailers handling bulky goods.

Flush-mounted and hygienic, this scanner offers a modern, cleanable design with capacitive touch buttons and multiple auxiliary ports for displays, scales, EAS deactivation and more. With support for Windows, Android, Linux, and IBM 4690, and full integration with OPOS/JavaPOS utilities, the 9600i is built for flexibility and future-proof performance.
