The Datalogic Magellan™ 9900i scanner-only model delivers next-generation imaging performance for modern checkouts and self-service applications. This version features a short shelf-mount design (35.2 cm length) with no scale and no included cables, ideal for custom installations where power and connectivity are supplied separately.

Powered by QuadVision™ technology, the scanner uses four high-resolution cameras (2 horizontal, 2 vertical) and a powerful IMX8 multi-core processor to deliver unmatched scanning speed and accuracy. It captures five-sided images per scan, effortlessly decoding damaged, poorly printed, or obscured barcodes—even at high throughput.

Future-proofed for AI capabilities, this model supports optional neural processors, Coral TPU acceleration, and color cameras—enabling item recognition, produce identification, and loss prevention functions without the need for cloud servers.

With its 2.7” bonnet height, the 9900i ensures full visibility across the checkout and compliance with ADA standards. The scanner’s sleek, hygienic form includes capacitive touch buttons and smooth surfaces designed for quick, easy cleaning.

This scanner supports all standard retail barcode symbologies including 1D, 2D, Digimarc®, and GS1 Digital Link. The 9900i is ready to evolve with your business—offering AI hardware expansion ports, Ethernet integration, and remote management support via Datalogic utilities.
